Cutaneous Bio-revitalization
The partnership with Fidia, one of the leading companies in the world in the field of research into hyaluronic acid, has enabled us to develop therapeutic protocols in the sector of bio-revitalization, guaranteeing that the IAL System line has a leadership position on the market. Recently we have developed the IAL Project in a new innovative product, IAL System ACP.
IAL System: Long Acting Bio-Revitalization
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance, normally found in our organism.
Its concentration is an indicator of a “young” or “aged” tissue. In fact, this molecule is responsible for the moisturizing, the turgidity and the compactness of the cutaneous tissue, stimulating the production of collagen and other components of the derma.
IAL System hyaluronic acid is absolutely natural and bio-interactive, identical to that present in the tissues. Injected intradermally, it recreates an ideal physiological environment, stimulating cellular functionality.
It is an extremely safe product, thanks to an exclusive, patented process of extraction, purification and sterilization, which allows the standardised production of a hyaluronic acid that is identical to the natural polymer and without chemical modifications able to alter the bio-interactivity.
The method that this hyaluronic acid uses is called Long Acting Bio-revitalization. In the short term, thanks to its viscosity, it has a corrective effect; over time it gives compactness, turgidity and elasticity to the tissues, in a natural way, preventing aging of the tissues.
IAL System is used for intervention on:
• Cutaneous sagging
• Periocular wrinkles
• Perioral wrinkles
• Neck lines
• Hands
IAL SYSTEM ACP: The evolution of Bio-Revitalization
IAL System ACP (auto cross-linked polymer) is an exclusive patent belonging to Fidia Pharmaceuticals, composed of bio-synthetic hyaluronic acid reticulated by means of intra and inter molecular ester binding. It is, therefore, a new polymer, with the same characteristics as natural hyaluronic acid, but with a considerably greater persistence.
In Ial-System ACP external chemical substances are not used for binding, and in the presence of water the ester binding is broken and natural bio-interactive hyaluronic acid is released.
For this reason Ial-System ACP is a slow-release bio-revitalizing product with a bio-stimulating action which is prolonged over time. It is totally bio-compatible and it improves the hydration and elasticity of the skin for a real rejuvenation of the face.
The particular structure of the ACP molecule allows access to natural hyaluronic acid in a “complex” stereo-chemical form, able to offer considerable resistance to the catabolic action and in this way being able to carry out for longer the positive actions which we know this substance is capable of. This result is obtained without the use of components of extraneous nature, and in this way it is possible to avoid impairing the purity of the product and its bio-compatibility.
When IAL System ACP is injected into the derma it undergoes a degradation which takes place in two stages: at first it reabsorbs water, so through a process of hydrolysis (de-esterification) there is the breaking of the cross-link, with the consequent liberation of chains of natural hyaluronic acid.
Subsequently these undergo a degradation by the hyaluronidase enzyme, releasing fragments of natural hyaluronic acid of various molecular weights, with all their properties of cellular bio-interactivity.
This slow cession produces a constant increase in cutaneous hydration and a prolonged stimulus on the fibroblastic receptors, CD44, and on the receptors of the ICAM vessels. The advantage of this exclusive molecule is, therefore, represented by its long permanence in situ, impossible to obtain with a natural hyaluronic acid.
It is, hence, evident how the bio-revitalizing action induced by hyaluronic acid can be prolonged, with obvious benefits for the patient, without any negative consequences from the toxicological point of view (as demonstrated by studies in the laboratory and of real cases).
Recent experiences have suggested a protocol which considers the synergistic use of IAL System ACP and IAL System natural hyaluronic acid: the action of IAL System ACP is carried out with greater efficacy when the implant takes place in a strongly hydrated tissue, a condition necessary for the start of the catabolic action on the molecule and the release of chains of hyaluronic acid at different densities in the tissue. It is, therefore, appropriate to plan a cycle of interventions which allows for a first phase of hydration of the tissues with IAL System hyaluronic acid (typically one or two sessions about two weeks apart), before proceeding to the implant of IAL System ACP (with the most suitable techniques) on a favourably conditioned substrate.
